“To make Functional Medicine and its tools a ‘household word’, and to restructure the paradigm of medicine to include dynamic pre-cursors and terrain-biology as co-creation factors in disease. “My goals are also to hasten the new technologies such as Scanning Thermography for Mammography and development of programs which are non-drug, in order to “bridge the gap” and create an alternative to often unnecessary drugs that are often used prematurely or inappropriately by the medical system. Seeing diseases before the full manifestation is now possible. It is now available and has been proven by decent science.
With clinical experience of 31 years with over 50,000 patient visits while training over 600 physicians in over 8 countries.
Dr. Beilin holds degrees from the University of Calif. at Davis (Physiology) and a Doctorate in Oriental Medicine from SAMRA University (Los Angeles). The host of the popular TV show, Know The Cause, Doug Kaufmann became interested in the subject of fungus as it pertains to disease while working in the area of food allergy.
Doug was a U.S. Navy Medical Corpsman attached to the 7th Marine Division in 1970. Upon coming home from Vietnam in 1971, he had strange symptoms that until the early 1980’s, he thought were related to food allergies. A research paper in 1980 entitled “Antigenically Intact Food Macromolecules Exiting The Gut Lumen” offered insight into the role of the terrain of the intestines in food allergies. As long as the intestines leaked, which is not uncommon, food allergies tend to change as the diet changed. After studying the reason that foods were able to leak through the intestines, Doug saw the role of fungus in provoking both symptoms and diseases. As it turned out, whether it was yeast in alcoholic beverages, mold by-products of medications like commonly taken antibiotics, or mere fungi like mushrooms, a link to illness, unknown to physicians, became apparent.
Doug has authored 9 books on the subject of fungus and ill health and each tells of the diets he developed (Phase One-Phase Two-Life Phase) that actually serve to starve the body of parasitic fungi, while simultaneously providing proper nutrition for those following it. His books expound on the many safe nutritional supplements that have antifungal properties as well as antifungal medications familiar to physicians.

Trowbridge, John Parks, MD
“Dr. T” – as he’s affectionately known for 39 years – claims he’s “just getting started,” now asking better questions and finding superior answers for healing your body. An Eagle Scout, National Merit and California State Scholar, he concentrated on immunology and molecular biology at Stanford University. “Medical school was so much fun I’d have been a permanent student if they just paid me,” he recalls about Case Western Reserve University.
Entering general practice in 1978, he became a busy “industrial physician” serving 53 area companies, also chief medical officer of Texas International Airlines. Plans changed: disheartened with risks, reactions, and limited results from drugs and surgery, Dr. Trowbridge explored other approaches. A master’s degree in nutritional medicine launched him on a journey with extraordinary state-of-the-art tools to repair illness and promote health. Lingering questions: why and how do people get sick? Dr. T prowled around and stumbled on obscure toxic heavy metals (pollution!), becoming a preeminent educator in chelation therapy, the exclusive FDA-approved treatment. Further: unrecognized devastation by internal yeast, creating discomforts and diseases in 40% of Americans. Innovative treatments in his 1986 bestseller The Yeast Syndrome are acclaimed around the world.
Enthusiastic for patients to get exceptional care, Dr. T lectures across the country, in Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, Brazil. His predictable success with “puzzling” patients is endorsed in over 5 dozen volumes of Who’s Who – and by a Distinguished Lifetime Achievement Award from the International College of Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Trowbridge hesitates to reel off awards and distinctions and professional organizations he has served as president. “Honors don’t matter,” he explains, “only the vitality and joy I produce for each unique patient.” Busting out of the box: “My clinical research focuses on identifying and treating diseases from unsuspected parasites (including plant fungus, of all things!), dramatic rejuvenation with specialized stem cells, reversing heart disease, repairing all joint pains without surgery, literally the list is long.”
His CDs, DVDs, books, articles, and lectures have opened eyes to healing beyond drugs and surgery. “I’m also proud of medical politics contributions: as a med student, I got leaders in the AMA and Podiatry talking. Three years later, foot specialists were permitted to operate in “our” hospitals.”
The catchphrase for Life Celebrating Health in Houston has long been “When life is your choice, failure is not an option.” Trowbridge proclaims that every patient deserves leading-edge breakthroughs in diagnosis and treatment: “Find it now – fix it right!”
